MA Students Cover N Korea Crisis
It's not often you get a world news story breaking on your doorstep but the North Korea nuclear weapon test happened just a couple of hundred miles from Dalian. The test was announced soon after the event at 10.28 AM. Getting pictures from North Korea is almost impossible, except from the Chinese border, a two and a half hour drive from the University. MA Students Place Assignment Pictures
Spanish student Markel Redondo won picture of the week and top story placement with his picture agency On Asia for his second term project on Chinese tourists. Meanwhile UK student Adam Dean placed one his images from his Modern Tibet project with the Wall Street Journal Weekend edition (October 1st) and Rolling Stone Magazine (US, Brazil and Japan issues).Labels: Photo MA News
